Golden doodles
The Goldendoodle is a Golden Retriever and a Standard Poodle cross. There are Standard Goldendoodles, which is a cross between and Golden Retriever and a Standard Poodle. The Goldendoodle is a hybrid cross and so they get the hybrid vigor, which is a phenomenon in animal breeding. It is referring to that the first cross between two pure bred lines is healthier and grows better than each parent line. The coat of a Goldendoodle can lay anywhere from a relaxed and shaggy Golden Retriever coat to a curly Poodle coat but usually falls somewhere in between. The colors of a Goldendoodle can vary from a cream to a golden, apricot red, caramel, brown, or even a black. Just like with most other poodle crosses, the coats will vary from a low shed to no shed at all and also be hypoallergenic.
A Goldendoodle is a very intelligent and obedient family companion. The Goldendoodle is good with other dogs, people and even strangers- basically they love everyone and everything. They are very much alike the Golden Retriever in the aspect that they are everybody's friend. Their intelligence, and eager to please their owner make them very easy to train. They can become destructive if they are left alone too often because they are very social dogs and are happiest when they are surrounded by people.
